1 John 1:9
“If we confess our sins, He is faith and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

This is a promise.  He will do it.  It’s not something we are to hope for.  It’s not something we are to wonder if it will happen.  We are forgiven.  We are purified.  We are made righteous.  We are restored to God.

And in this promise is the reality that God has begun the process of healing our heart and mind, our past and our emotions.  He has begun it, and we can be “confident of htis, that He who geban a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Chrsit Jesus” (Philippians 1:6).  Don’t know when; don’t know how; don’t know what it’ll look like; but He will do it.

Come tonight ready to participate in the continual process of transformation knowing you are forgiven, purified, and in right standing with God.
